The breathtaking landscapes of the countries on both sides of the Andes with their snow-capped mountains, green valleys and flowing streams are an experience. On the way, we will also get to know the lively and colorful tango city of Buenos Aires, and in Chile, Santiago de Chile and Santa Cruz.
On the trip, the focus is especially on the wines of Mendoza, the Colchagua Valley and the Santa Cruz region, and they, together with the delicious dining moments, create a memorable trip. Crossing the Andes from Mendoza to Santiago de Chile is an unforgettable spectacle that everyone will surely remember for the rest of their lives.

DAY 1. FRIDAY 17.11.
Flight from Helsinki to Buenos Aires
DAY 2. SATURDAY 18.11.
Arrival the next morning in Buenos Aires. Transfer from the airport to breakfast, followed by a city tour. Welcome lunch at a local restaurant tasting Argentinean specialties accompanied by good wines. After lunch, transfer to Hotel Casa Sur, where you have free time in the afternoon to rest or go see the sights of Buenos Aires. Free night.
DAY 3. SUNDAY 19.11.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the tango district of San Telmo. City tour in San Telmo and lunch in Basque restaurant Sagard with local wines. After lunch, free time in San Telmo and return to the hotel.
In the evening, wine tasting and dinner and a tango show in a prestigious tango restaurant.
DAY 4. MONDAY 20.11.
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel.
Transfer to the airport and morning flight from Buenos Aires to Mendoza. Mendoza is a vibrant city in western Argentina, with colorful markets, bustling cafes and a great nightlife. The city is known for its wine and oil production.
Argentina is especially a red wine country, well known for its Malpec grape variety. 2/3 of the country’s vineyards are located in the province of Mendoza, with the Andes mountains in the background. On the other side of the Andes lies Chile, whose conditions for wine growing are, however, completely different. The winds blowing from the Pacific Ocean affect the fact that mostly different varieties are grown on the Chilean side and different wines are produced than in Mendoza on the east side of the Andes.
Transfer to Mendoza, where you will stay in a stylish hotel in the city center. Luggage drop at the hotel and departure for sparkling wine tasting at the Cruzat winery.
After the visit, we move on to the second tasting of the day at the Catena Zapata winery, where we also enjoy lunch.
After lunch, a city tour in Mendoza. Transfer to the hotel.
Free night.
DAY 6. TUESDAY 21.11.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the first winery visit of the day, where you will enjoy a tasting at the De Angeles Viña 1924 winery located at the foot of the Los Andes mountains. The estate is located in the Vistalba region, Argentina’s first historic winemaking region.
Winery visit and lunch Gaia at Domaine Bousquet. The farm is already known from the wine magazine, and the farm’s Reserve Organic Malbec won the magazine’s silver medal «Wine Awards» in 2022.
After the visit, we head back to the hotel, where we have free time to rest and prepare for dinner.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 7. WEDNESDAY 22.11.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Maipu wine region, which is the wine-growing region of Mendoza, Argentina’s largest wine-growing region. The historic wine region Maipu is the home of Mendoza’s top quality, top class, bright and intense red wine producers of Malbecs, Cabernet Sauvignons and Pinot Noirs.
Visit and tasting at Achaval Ferrer farm.
The second visit of the day at the El Enemigo winery, where you will enjoy a tasting and lunch.
In the afternoon, return to the hotel in Mendoza, where the afternoon is free.
Dinner at a local restaurant with wine.
DAY 8. THURSDAY 23.11.
Breakfast at the hotel.
Early departure for the bus trip across the Andes to Santiago de Chile. Beautiful landscapes make the trip unforgettable. The bus journey takes approx. 8 hours, depending on the time spent on customs formalities at the border. Light lunch on the way.
Accommodation in a high-class central hotel in Pullman Santiago El Bosque.
Dinner near the hotel in the wonderful Don Carlos restaurant with wines.
DAY 9 FRIDAY 24.11.
Breakfast at the hotel.
City tour, we see the most important sights of the city center and visit the San Cristobal hill to see the silhouette of the city. We also go to the old town, Plaza de Armas square and the colorful market hall. We will get to know modern Santiago in the district of Providencia.
At the end of the tour, we visit the Santa Rita winery, whose high-quality wines are also known in Finland. We also enjoy lunch at the winery. After lunch, departure to our hotel in Santiago.
Free night.
DAY 10. SATURDAY 25.11.
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the hotel and departure to the south, to the Colchagua wine valley, which is approx. 180 km from the capital.
We visit the Casa Silva winery, which has the oldest wine cellar in the entire valley. The Casa Silva family winery is located in the Colchgua Valley, near the city of San Fernando. This magical place at the foot of the Andes offers Peruvian history and Chilean traditions. We also enjoy lunch at the winery.
The journey continues to the city of Santa Cruz and check-in at the hotel Santa Cruz Plaza. Dinner at the Italian restaurant Vino Bello.
DAY 11. SUNDAY 26.11.
Breakfast at the hotel. A day entirely dedicated to wine. We get to know two important wineries in this region, both with a winery tour and tasting.
Santa Cruz Winery with a cable car ride over the vineyards to the top of the hill for panoramic views of the vineyards and the Lolol Valley. Santa Cruz’s wine production is inspired by the cultures of the Aymara, Mapuche and Rapa Nui indigenous peoples. https://vinasantacruz.cl/
We will travel to the Viu Manenti winery, where we will visit the Malbec room and learn about the history of the farm. We will also get to know the most important grape varieties of Colchagua, the tour ends with a wine tasting. After the tour, lunch at the winery’s open-air restaurant where we can admire the wonderful wine groves.
Return to the hotel in Santa Cruz and a free evening.
DAY 12. MONDAY 27.11.
Breakfast at the hotel and handover of the rooms. Departure back to Santiago, free time for shopping. Accommodation at the familiar Pullman Santiago El Bosque hotel.
Maritime final dinner and wine tasting at La Mar Cebicheria restaurant
DAY 13. TUESDAY 28.11.
Breakfast at the hotel and chartered transport to Santiago de Chile airport and the journey towards Helsinki begins.
DAY 14. WEDNESDAY 29.11.
Arrival to Helsinki.
