Wine tour Croatia-Montenegro Superior

The 5-day wine and food tour combines the stunningly beautiful and mountainous Montenegro and Croatia bordered by the turquoise Adriatic Sea. On the way, we drive around the Bay of Kotor along one of the world’s most spectacular scenic routes. In the beautiful surroundings of Lake Skadar, you can find picturesque villages and Podgorica’s famous wine regions, most of which are small idyllic family farms. On the way, we will get to know the wines of Croatia’s unique coast and islands, the stunningly beautiful historic city of Dubrovnik, drive along the beautiful wine road of Peljesac to the island of Korcula, and enjoy freshly caught oysters from Ston! The delicious food of Montenegro and Croatia is enjoyed in high-class local restaurants with famous wines.

Go and experience a wonderful wine travel experience in a nice company in the amazing landscapes of the Balkan peninsula. During the trip, we will stay in high-class hotels for two nights in the picturesque beach cove of Cavtat and the last two nights on the green island of Korcula surrounded by the turquoise sea.

DAY 1

Finnair direct flight from Helsinki to Dubrovnik 16:50-18:55. Order delivery to Cavtat, approx. 15 minutes by car. Accommodation in a wonderful beach cove hotel in Hotel Cavtat. Dinner at the nearby fish restaurant by the turquoise sea.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will go on a chartered transport for a day trip to Montenegro. The first winery visit of the day is in the wonderful scenery of Savina Winery. We drive along the stunningly beautiful scenic route of the Bay of Kotor, which is surrounded by steep mountains. On the way, a delicious lunch with wine at Konoba Cato Vica Mlin restaurant. After lunch, we will visit the picturesque medieval town of Kotor, where we will get to know the Montenegrin wine culture in the form of a wine tasting. After the tasting, we return to Cavtat. Free night.

Day 3

After breakfast and check-out, we will drive along what many consider to be the most beautiful coast in the world towards the green island of Korcula. On the way to the island of Pelsejac, a visit to the Botique Winery Mikulic farm, which produces excellent wine and olive oil. Lunch at the farm in the Old Captain restaurant. After lunch, the trip continues to the island of Korcula, where you will stay at the upscale Aminess Korcula Heritage hotel near the old town. Free night.

Day 4

Free time after breakfast, after we go to the family-owned Cipre Winery to taste the wines of Korcula. The trip continues to the Vitis Winery, where lunch is served with the wines from the winery. After the visits, back to the hotel and a free afternoon. The final dinner of the trip is enjoyed at the Pensatore Kitchen & Wine restaurant by the sea.

Day 5

After breakfast, departure for the island of Peljesac, where we will visit a local winery. A short distance away is Sto, known for its oyster farms. We taste oysters with wine and enjoy a delicious fish lunch by the sea in the Bota Sare restaurant. We continue our journey to the old town of Dubrovnik, where we have free time. After the tour, departure to the airport, where the Finnair flight departs at 19:45 and arrives in Helsinki at 23:45.
